Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

homepage.one ("homepage.one", "we", "us") builds an automatically maintained professional profile from the online sources you choose to connect. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. Who we are

homepage.one is the operator of this service and the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at privacy@homepage.one for any privacy question or request.

2. Data we collect

Data from connected accounts. When you connect a social account — currently Facebook, with additional providers planned — we request only the minimum permissions needed to build your profile. For Facebook specifically, we request the public_profile and email permissions, and we receive:

We never receive your Facebook password, and we do not request access to your friends list, posts, or any permission beyond the two listed above. We do not post to Facebook or any connected account on your behalf.

Connection tokens. We store the access token issued by the provider so we can keep your connection active and periodically refresh your profile data. Tokens are stored only for this purpose and are never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.

Account data. A homepage.one account is created the first time you successfully connect a source. We store an internal account identifier and the connections attached to it.

Session data. We use a first-party, secure session cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived security cookie during the connection step to protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How we use your data

4. How we share your data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We share data only with service providers who help us operate homepage.one — for example, hosting and database infrastructure, and AI providers used solely to help draft profile content from data you've connected. These providers are bound to use your data only to provide the service to us, not for their own purposes.

We may disclose data if required to by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of homepage.one or our users.

5. Data retention

We retain your account, connection, and profile data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account or a connection, we delete the associated data as described in our Data Deletion Instructions.

6. Your choices and rights

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we store, including access controls and secure transport (HTTPS) for all traffic to and from homepage.one. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

homepage.one is not directed to, and is not knowingly used by, children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

10. Contact
